The ‘ultra-slippery’ concept of the divine
Wednesday, July 22, 2009

On Sunday, July 12, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship service will present a DVD sermon on “God,” delivered by the Reverend Christine Robinson of First Unitarian Church of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Rev. Robinson explores the “ultra-slippery concept of divine, and all its many names.” She goes on to point out that, “Whatever our description of God, whatever name we use, and attributes we assign, God is, by definition, the highest we can imagine existing.”

The Children’s Religious Exploration has an on-going puzzle project for the month of July. A jigsaw puzzle of the globe will start a quest for discovering not only our world, but our own backyard.

The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the fire station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign.
