Pagosa Springs Music Booster’s production of “Meshuggah-Nuns” by Dan Goggin is halfway through its local run at the Pagosa Springs High School auditorium theater, with two more shows this week.
Come out and enjoy the Nuns’ latest adventure — this time on a cruise ship, with the fourth of the “Nunsense” series performed in Pagosa.
“Meshuggah-Nuns!” finds the Sisters on an all-expense-paid trip on the “Faiths of All Nations Cruise.” When the cast of “Fiddler On The Roof” (except Tevye) gets seasick, the ship’s captain asks the Sisters and Tevye to put on a show.
Enjoy an evening of pure nonsense, — I mean, Nunsense! Your “kishkas” (insides) will be sore from laughter!
Our all-veteran cast includes Mark DeVoti, Kathleen Isberg, Lisa Hartley, Mary McKeehan, Crissy Ferguson, Becca Stephens and Ami Harbison. They truly have had a rockin’ time, both rehearsing and in performance for their audiences.
All ticket sales support performing arts in our schools and community and our college scholarship program. Music Boosters kicked off their “Bucks for Boosters” project opening night; we appreciate our audiences’ generosity in supporting our give-back philosophy.
Shows are tonight, July 2, and Friday, July 3, at 7 p.m. Tickets at $15, $12 and $5 available now at the Chamber of Commerce downtown, online at www.brownpapertickets.com, or at the door performance evenings. See www.pagosamusicboosters.org.
The PSHS auditorium is located on South 8th Street in downtown Pagosa Springs. From U.S. 160, turn south on 8th Street and follow 8th Street to the high school campus.
