We were asked after the Festival of Trees last year if there was going to be a theme for the 2009 event.
Well, there is no theme for this year’s Festival of Trees, so let your imagination inspire you.
We have six organizations that have already signed up, so be sure to get to the center ASAP to get your registration in.
We will also feature auction items at the festival this year. This is a great opportunity for Archuleta County organizations to raise money, and for everyone to enjoy a fun evening.
The Celebrate America Event will be held at the community center July 1, 6:45-8:30 p.m. It will be a night of entertainment for the whole family, featuring American Legion Post 108, singers, dancers, music, a storyteller and a Pagosa son.
After the entertainment, we will serve dessert. Coffee and water will be served during and after the entertainment segment of the evening. This is a free event for the whole family. Hope to see you here.
Tacky, shabby, not stylish, tasteless? Yeah, that’s what we’re looking for. The whole room at the community center will be tacky — tacky tables, tacky people and tackalicious fun, all on July 24, 7-11 p.m.
This 21-and-over cash bar dance, will feature the beats of the DJ Dude, This is your chance to go crazy!
You can purchase your tickets at Higher Grounds Coffee, Happy Trails and the community center. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
