We have to say goodbye to Saturdays at the community center. Beginning June 6, the center will be open on Saturdays only by appointment. We had a long run; goodbye Saturday friends.
Some of our free programs at the community center have ended for the season, but will return in the fall. So, please keep your eyes open for dates and times of programs beginning later this year.
Remember, you can use the computers at the center Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
We’ve had some much-needed rain, and we need more. We wish everyone a fabulous weekend.
A free CPR class will be presented by The Southwest Colorado Chapter of the American Red Cross at the community center May 30, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. There are only 15 spaces available. This opportunity is funded by a grant from the Southwest All Hazards Committee. This is a chance for SWCC Red Cross to provide the Southwest Colorado region with CPR training.
Please call the chapter office at (970) 259-5383 to register. Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pagosa Fiber Festival, a celebration of the fiber arts, will hold workshops at the center May 28 and 29. There will be a Navajo Rug Auction May 30, at 5 p.m.
