We want to thank the Semillas de la Tierra Folklorico Dancers from Alamosa for putting on a fabulous show for us at our Cinco de Mayo Fiesta. They entertained the audience for more than an hour; it was a great show, something you should not miss if they come to town again.
Everyone was on the dance floor for the evening entertainment by Variety Express. The dance floor was full and everybody was moving. It was a great night of entertainment.
A special thanks goes out to Pagosa Springs businesses that donated prizes: McDonald’s, Overlook Spa, Springs, Spa, Dorothy’s, Malt Shop, Boss Hogg’s, Bear Creek, Subway, Quizno’s, Floured Apron, Upscale Resale, Choke Cherry Tree, The Purple Sage, DSP, Café Colorado, El Ranchero, Squirrel’s Pub, Studio 160, Libby’s, Liberty Theatre, Plaza Grille, Chato’s, Critter Outfitter, Shang Hai, Cherry C and High Country Lodge. Your gifts are greatly appreciated.
The Fiesta was a group effort involving the Spanish Fiesta Club, the community center and the Guadalupanas. We are always looking for ways to make all our events a success. If you have any ideas you would like to share, please call the center at 264-4152, and ask for Michelle.
