‘Rope in’ some bargains with LASSO

Don’t miss out on this: We are having a yard and tack sale for LASSO Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days, at Renner’s Mini-Storage, Unit C-18, on Bastille Drive.

Rain or shine, come and get in on awesome bargains on cool stuff. Also, we appreciate any good, usable items donated to this needed cause (no clothes, please). To donate, call DiAnn Hitchcox at 264-0095, or Peg Ellis at 799-7839.

LASSO is a non-profit organization, devoted to the survival, safety and humane treatment of hoofed animals here in the Southwest, and there are more unwanted horses needing our care than one would realize. In fact, another way to help is to “foster” a “501” horse — you can get a nice tax deduction and the satisfaction of knowing you are part of the solution by helping a creature in need. So, if you have a “horse-friendly” area (example: fenced, safe from downed barbed wire, downed nailed boards, etc.) and are interested, more information is available by calling LASSO director Hitchcox at 264-0095.
