Cinco de Mayo Fiesta.
It’s a family affair this year, co-sponsored by the Spanish Fiesta Club, the Gudalupanas and the Pagosa Springs Community Center. The Cinco de Mayo Family Dinner, Dance and Fiesta will provide a dazzling evening of entertainment May 2, from 5:30-11 p.m. at the community center
Gudalupanas will provide delicious food for sale from 5:30-7 p.m. All proceeds from the sale of food will go directly to the Gudalupanas. There will also be a cash bar at the center, serving wine and beer.
Esmillas de la Tierra-Folklorico Traditional Dancers from Alamosa will entertain from 6-7 p.m, you can enjoy your meal with dance and song.
Then there is the evening dance, with Pagosa’s own Variety Express, 7-11 p.m. This is your chance to swing those hips and dance the night away.
Tickets are available at the community center and at Happy Trails. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door, and $2 for kids 12th grade and younger. Tickets do not include the price of food served at the Fiesta.
