Did you know that up until a few years ago, it was legal to drink and drive in Colorado?
Well, the law has changed.
Like most other states, Colorado now has a law prohibiting drinking from, and even possessing an open alcoholic beverage container within a motor vehicle. This means that even a passenger in the back seat is not allowed to have an open container of alcohol.
So, remember, if you’re out to have a good time, save your drinking for a safe location outside of the car, always chose a designated non-drinking driver, and you’ll avoid an embarrassing ticket and points on your license.
