On Sunday, March 29, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship joins UU churches around the world in celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The speaker will be Archuleta County Court Judge James Denvir.
His established philosophy and innovative practices of seeking justice and rehabilitation over punishment and revenge, make Judge Denvir’s comments on this special day particularly relevant.
The children’s program will consider how welcoming strangers and inviting the hungry to be fed are ways that various religions practice hospitality. As an act of caring, we will prepare a meal for our Fellowship, and share stories of other ways our Unitarian Universalist religion helps us change the world for the better.
The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. Turn east on Greenbrier Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the fire station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign. All are welcome.
