Sealed bids will be received by Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District (Owner), P.O. Drawer 4610, 100 Lyn Avenue, Pagosa Springs, Colorado 81157 until 2 p.m. local time on Thursday, April 9, 2009. Bids received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.

At said place and time, and promptly thereafter, all bids that have been duly received will be opened publicly and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid. Bids shall be submitted on a unit price basis.

The primary scope of the project for 2009 includes: site preparation and wetland topsoil/sod excavation and placement in wetland mitigation areas; wetland feature construction; seeding and mulching; fine grading of wetland creation areas; and installation of wetland monitoring wells. Additional work required for 2010 includes wetland planting activities.

Copies of the Drawings and Project Specifications for use in preparing Bids may be obtained from the Engineer after March 23, 2009, upon paying $70.00 for each set of Bidding Documents. Payment is to be made to the Engineer, whose mailing address is: Davis Engineering Service, Inc., P.O. Box 1208, Pagosa Springs, Colorado 81147, and whose telephone number is (970) 264-5055. All payments made for Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents are nonrefundable. Copies of the Drawings and Project Specifications are also on file and may be examined at the Engineer’s address during normal working hours.

Each Bidder shall file with his Bid a cashier’s check, or a Bid Bond, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance, Payment and Warranty Bond guaranteeing faithful performance. No Bids may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the date Bids are opened. A mandatory Pre-bid Conference will be held at the Owner’s office at 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, March 31, 2009.

A lawsuit has been started against you in the above entitled court by the above named Plaintiff or Plaintiffs.
