Girls’ night out to help Archuleta County Victims Assistance Program

Gather your girlfriends, make a donation and enjoy eating and socializing before the silent auction ends and the live auction begins.

Mary McKeehan and Dee McPeek from Old West Press will dazzle and bling the night away to raise funds and recognize the hard work of the Archuleta County Victim Assistance Program here in Archuleta County. Both Carmen Hubbs and Karen Hatfield have been recognized statewide for their advocacy work. The volunteer advocates who work with the program help support the needs of the community. This is a way for community to recognize their accomplishments.

On Thursday March 19, starting at 5:30 p.m., Nello’s Bistro will serve up some delicious food and specialties at the cash bar. The Bistro is closed until 8 for the event. Kim Hamilton, The Decorating Lady, will help sparkle and bling the restaurant for the event.

Women are encouraged to dress up and sparkle as well. Wendy Saunders will be the photographer for the evening.

Area businesses and individuals that have donated for the auction include: Purple Sage Café, Dayspring Chiropractic, Pagosa Dental, Plaid Pony, Pagosa Photo Depot, Farrago/Alley House, Slices of Nature, Mountain Eye Care, Astara Boutique, Home Again, Colorado Cowboy Creations, Touchstone Gifts and Artisans of the Southwest, with jewelry by Cindi Galabota, Lynne McCrudden, Ellen Wadley and Jody McAlister, to name a few.
