Pagosa Community Choir begins spring concert season

Tired of mud, slush, and snow? Got the winter blues? Need some music in your life? Maybe it’s time you joined the Pagosa Springs Community Choir.

You say you used to sing with the choir, but sort of dropped out? Maybe it’s time you came on back.

The Community Choir will have its first rehearsal on Tuesday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m., at the high school band room, to start the spring concert season. The choir will again be under the capable direction of Larry Elginer, and will be accompanied by our extraordinary pianist, Venita Burch. You can be assured that we will again have a variety of musical styles, including a few of our older favorites, and some brand new songs, that we have not performed in the past. We can almost guarantee that we will touch on everyone’s musical taste.

The choir will depart somewhat from tradition this year, by performing our concerts the first weekend in June, rather than Mothers’ Day weekend, as we have done in the past.

If you like to sing in a choir, or just in the shower, we invite you to join us this spring. Being able to read music is not required, but a love for music and singing is real plus.
