St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church Season of Lent study

Lent begins Wednesday, Feb. 25, (some of us will have our last “King Cake” Mardi Gras).

The first Sunday in March, St. Patrick’s adult continuing Christian education class will begin a Lenten Season study.

The class will review James Harnish’s “Radical Renovation, Living the Cross Shaped Life.” The seven-week study will, each week, provide a scripture reference, a brief reflection, questions for discussion, a prayer and a focus for the coming week. The traditional Lenten disciplines invites us to allow Spirit to reshape the way we think, act and live into the likeness of Jesus on his way to the cross. Study books are available but not required.

We meet in St. Patrick’s Parish Hall from 9:-9:45 a.m. as we prepare to worship God. Come join us for coffee, fellowship and continuing Christian education.

The education class is followed by Sunday worship at 10 a.m. All are invited to participate fully and all are always welcome “as is” while we strive to form a deliberately diverse, fully inclusive, circle.
