First ever Bridge-A-Palooza scheduled in Pagosa

Have you heard of Bridge-A-Palooza?

It is a community event in Pagosa Springs that is “Tearing Down Fences and Building Bridges” for everyone in the community.

Bridge-A-Palooza is an opportunity for organizations to come together and talk about our strengths and needs in this community, so that we can work together. It is an opportunity for interested volunteers to meet and speak with organizations that are serving our community — an opportunity for residents to find resources and other information, and speak to people who are serving our community.

We want to invite you to be part of this opportunity.

Bridge-A-Palooza is scheduled for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Powerhouse Center (adjacent to Town Park fields). A free lunch by Loaves and Fishes will be served.

We are seeking representatives of non-profits to showcase their programs. If you are interested in reserving booth space or simply having information available, call Laura Ege at 731-9652.

This is a free event for all members of the community. There is no charge for booth space. However, if you have your own table and chairs, we strongly encourage you to use them. We would also like to stress that this is not only a non-profit event, but an event for all people who offer programs and resources for the community.

Booth set-up for the event will take place at 5 p.m. Friday night. Beginning at 6, we will have a brown bag dinner (with drinks and dessert provided) and a round-table discussion.

We hope this is will be another opportunity for non-profits to candidly talk about the state of the community we serve and discuss how we can support each other to best serve our wonderful community.

We hope you will take part in the first annual Pagosa Springs Bridge-A-Palooza.

For more information and to reserve a booth space, call Laura Ege at 731-9652.
