Words, music and social action

On Sunday, Jan. 4, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will consider “Words and Music leading to Social Action,” led by John Graves.

In an informal, participatory framework, the power of words and music as inspiration  to becoming active in making the world a better place is explored. Guest performers will add relevant examples from the world of the Arts.

Since one of the ways people express their hopes, dreams and wishes for their life is through prayer, the children’s program will make collages as a way to share our “picture-prayers” with one another. The New Year is a particularly good time to focus on what we would like to see for the coming year.

The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. Turn east on Greenbrier Drive off of North Pagosa by the fire station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign. All are welcome.
