An Avalanche Safety Awareness talk is set for Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Archuleta County Extension Building on U.S. 84.

Local Colorado Avalanche Information Center avalanche forecaster Mark Mueller will talk about recognizing avalanche hazards and Internet resources. 

There is no charge to attend.
