European travel opportunity for Pagosa students

Students in Pagosa Springs have the unique and exciting opportunity to travel around Europe this summer with a group from Pagosa Springs High School.

This is not only a trip of a lifetime, but it will give students a chance to see, taste, and touch what most people only read about in books. Students will travel for 15 days with knowledgeable tour guides and art educators, which will enrich their experience tenfold. From the Tower of London to the Louvre to the Dachau concentration camp to the Old Town Square in Prague to the Berlin Wall, they will experience the art, culture and history of Europe.

Pagosa Passports under the guidance of Pagosa Springs High School art teacher Rebekah Wilkins-Pepiton will embark on this journey on May 31. The people at Passports educational travel institute have arranged student travel around the world for almost 40 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for travelers to gain a new perspective on the world, and enrich their education.

In response to the recent economic times, the Passports Travel Company has eliminated all price increases on their 2009 trips, easing travelers’ concerns. This trip is still open to travelers of all ages. If you want more detailed information or want to get signed up, e-mail Rebekah Wilkins-Pepiton at or call (940) 782-6587.
