Operation Winter Coat accepting donations

It is that time of year again, when the Rotary Clubs of Pagosa Springs have their annual Operation winter Coat drive

This year the distribution will take place 3-5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at the Extension Building at the fairgrounds.

What a great time to go through closets and find outgrown and warm items like coats, gloves, hats and boots. Even blankets, in good condition, can be used. Our amazing community always gets behind this drive by opening various locations as drop off sites for your items. This year your neighbors at Mountain Eye Care, the Pagosa Lodge, Sears, Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center, Seeds of Learning, Head Start, Our Saviour Lutheran School, Pagosa Springs High School, Pagosa Springs Elementary School, Pagosa Springs Junior High School, Pagosa Springs Intermediate School, and Be Our Guest B&B, are waiting for you to bring your clothing items in, no later than Nov. 19.

This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone in need to come by and pick up needed items free of charge There is always plenty to go around.
