‘Nature in Abstract’ features work by Pagosa artists

“Nature in Abstract,” an abstract exhibition of the natural world with palette-knife oil paintings and sculpture in bronze, steel and stone by Pagosa Springs artist teams Kathleen and Anthony Steventon, and Linda and Lal Echterhoff, opens at the Fort Lewis College Art Gallery Friday, Oct. 24.  

The show reflects the impact of living in a Colorado mountain town surrounded by minerals, plants, animals and their relationship with man.

Opening reception is Friday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. The show runs to Nov. 18

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday. 

The Fort Lewis College Art Gallery is located at 1000 Rim Drive, Durango.
