New study begins at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church

The Adult Christian Education class at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church invites the community to join our study of the book, “The Creed:  Beliefs That Matter,” written by Dr. Michael Bauman.

We are especially pleased to have the author joining us for this study while he spends the fall in Pagosa Springs as a teacher for Summit Ministries.

Bauman is a professor of theology and culture at Hillsdale College, in Hillsdale, Mich., where he is also director of Christian Studies and the scholar in residence for Summit Semester.  Bauman has published numerous books, articles and political editorials.

On Oct. 12,, the class will begin reviewing Dr. Bauman’s 12-chapter book on the “Apostles’ Creed.” A creed that “contains all the fundamental articles of the Christian faith necessary to salvation ... in simple Scripture language ... from God and the creation down to the resurrection and life everlasting.”

Class attendees will receive a complimentary copy of The Creed.
